Question: Do the Golden Rule Ribs come fully cooked?
Answer: Yes, all of our meats arrive fully cooked, frozen, and ready to be heated at your convenience.

Question: Can Golden Rule products be reheated in the microwave?
Answer: No. We highly recommend NOT using a microwave to reheat any Golden Rule products.

Question: How are Golden Rule perishable products packaged?
Answer: Once an order is placed, all Golden Rule perishable products are vacuum sealed, frozen, and placed in an insulated box with Nordic Ice® Gel Refrigerant Packs.

Question: Can a Golden Rule Boston Butt be cooked in a slow cooker?
Answer: Yes. If you would like more information about different cooking methods, visit our Reheating Instructions section.

Question: How many people does a slab of Golden Rule ribs feed?
Answer: Although we cannot predict an individual's appetite, a single slab of ribs, on average, contains 12 bones.

Question: How many people does 2 lb of Golden Rule pulled chicken or pork feed?
Answer: Depending on portion size, 2 lbs of Golden Rule BBQ makes about 6–8 sandwiches or 3–4 plates.

Question: How many people does one quart of Golden Rule sides feed?
Answer: On average, a side serving is 4 oz. We expect our quart sides to serve approximately 6–8 people.
